Thank you very much It was made with very limited number of features, only those of Apo2.02 could be used. Otherwise I would have added more glow, but there were no blurry variations in Apo2.02
No and yes, this were just the constraints of the currentchallenge I enjoy those challenges all the time because there is always something to learn about fractal flames. I'm glad that I can take place even if it is an Apophysis challenge. And then I use only features here which are also available in Apophysis, of course
Interesting I was started with Apo a few times and dropped it quickly every time. I know, people like it, but it just not for me. I love intuitive approach and I found it useful with your JWF and Mandelbulb 3D (my another favorite fractal program)
I also like Mandelbulb3D, but I nearly have no time to use it. I also love Bryce, but here the same problem Apo was some cool program, I really loved the version 2.x which let me really play with fractal flames for the first time. But the absence of innovations for a long time drove me to start on my own, JWildfire was born (I knew there was some other Apo7XYZ stuff, but this did not work on my system at this time. After upgrading my system it worked (better), but I was dissappointed by the interface and that it was so interwoven with Windows). I know there is a huge community for Apophysis and I do respect most of them deeply, but the software they use is really outdated. But most of them seem to be pleased, so it seems to be fine I never tried to "get users", and to be honest, I am not sure how to handle lots of users. I fear the moment where is not enough time left to answer a certain question because there are too many users with too many questions. But on the other side, it is overwhleming to see the JWildfire community grow )
So, JWildfire is a child of passion?... This is a best thing I could wish to any developer/artist I understand about responsibility of being on top of growing community. But on some unwritten rule the bigger community grows the more help you'll get. Like Tom Allen and others... BTW about questions from users What do you think of my question about Brainstorming feature. Such a possibility could make JWF even more interesting for the artists, who usually prefer more intuitive way
Yes, JWildfire is pure passion I'm very glad that I named it after my old software from the Amiga days. Some of it's spirit is still here At least one of the next releases will reveal this... it has to do not with fractals... it has to do with fractals and sound
Sorry, I did oversee your question regarding the Brainstorming feature and I dont know it yet because I don't use After Effects. (I know what After Effects does in general but did not use it.) Could you please explain your idea? (per note or in the JWF group would probably better).
Good composition as well !
So you've choose these features intentionally to reproduce Apo possibilities in JWF ?
